Hand painted by the artist on fine ceramic and coated with a high gloss crystal glaze. This charming black and white polka dot cow features brightly colored strawberries on a bold yellow background. The thick glaze coat has some areas of tiny bubbles, dimples and some slight crazing - adding great character and age to this unique piece of art. The tips of the horns also have unevenness to them. One appears to have three small glaze bubbles, while the other looks to either have been bumped while glazing, or possibly a slight repair done well enough that you really have to look close. (I had to take my glasses off to see either imperfect horn tip) I have priced the piece accordingly, even though it is still a beautiful and unique piece of art.
A charming and whimsical gift, or addition to your collection, at a bargain price!
